Les Sables d'Olonne, meaning "the sands of Olonne," is a charming seaside town on the western French coast, known as the Côte de Lumière. The region boasts a stunning array of landscapes, from picturesque beaches and rugged coastlines to pine forests and wetlands. 

Since its inaugural race in 2019, the IRONMAN 70.3 Les Sables d'Olonne-Vendée has become an instant sensation, featuring a canal swim, a bike ride through the forest, and a half-marathon along Les Remblai promenade.
